I would like to use my iPad as a remote for the Xbox one. Searching through my library and setting a playlist. Is this feature being added in the near future?
You actually can create you playlists with the normal iOS app (and all their benefits) and then play these playlists via the Xbox One client.
The only thing is that you have to start the playlist with the xbox one controller / remote.
Obviously not completely what you wanted but part of it 
Yeah, I’m doing that right now, but it would be great if you could create a playlist on the fly similar to the YouTube app
