A few quick questions

Hi, I am new to Plex but I have a couple of questions about the Xbox One app.

  1. On the iPhone app I can see/select my iPad and computer to play to, but I can’t see my Xbox. Is this feature missing in the app or am I missing something?
  2. Is there a way of setting Plex to always play the AC3 audio tracks instead of AAC in videos (all of my videos have both so they work on my iPad/iPhone)?
  3. Is there a way to view just unwatched stuff?

  1. is not available in the app yet, hopefully coming soon as I miss that too.

Yup, (1) is Plex Companion, which isn't present currently. (2) we have a known issue for audio stream switching, so looking into that. (3) There is no filtering of the sections yet - including unwatched.

All good features/points that we'd like to get in the app at some point! Thanks for your questions.

I was also trying to create my media with 2 audio streams, (always first or iTunes won't like it) being AAC 2.0 so iTunes accepts them and puts them on my iPhone/iPad, and AC3 5.1 as my second audio so I can listen to surround sound in the theater.  As of recent I've been testing AAC 5.1, which iTunes seems to like and will put them on my iPhone/iPad and play just fine. In the theater I get audio output via Chromecast to my receiver as 5.1 PCM. Seems I've found a good compromise.  Anyway, something to try stoplis...
