I have noticed for months now that there would be random CPU and network egress spikes every 5-10 mins. I narrowed it down tonight to my sons ipad(.159) and noticed it was is some kind of sync job. I also finally realized that everything he starts plex, there is a sync message. CPU spikes to ~30% and network egress spikes to ~500mbps. This last for about a minute and stops. it basically repeats about every 5 minutes.
In the logs below, it provides a path to a sync and a ERROR line for not be able to transcode. Is the issue here that in the background, there is a sync job that is constantly running? I know syncs are one of the weakness on the ios client, but wanting to stop the constant spikes.
any thoughts? TIA
