One iPhone in my house causes the “please purchase Plex Pass” screen to appear when streaming, but it’s on our home network. We’ve made sure that it’s not on a different subnet or anything. The other iOS devices in the house work just fine.
If you’re running a VPN, that will cause it as well because you’re actually looping through your modem/router which results in a Public IP coming back in
Make sure you have the local network access toggled “on” in the main iPhone settings for Plex. It’s easy to just say no to the prompt when it first launches.
