Does anyone know why, when using the iphone plex app to play music to my car stereo via Bluetooth, it will only play a little over a minute of the song and then start the song over? can never play the whole song, album etc…

I have no issues with this, plays perfectly for me. Thing here it could be the car Bluetooth, could be the phone, could be the plex app.
Do you have anything else you can connect to over Bluetooth (speakers, headphones ect). Does the same thing happen then?
No only my iPhone, and I never have a problem playing music from the iPhone, or the radio from the iPhone, this is only happening with the Plex iPhone app.
How about when not using BT? Any issues there?
Same issue with just the iPhone Plex app. I deleted the app and re-installed the app, and same thing, wont play entire song, starts over after about 1 1/2 minutes. Really need some help with this.Love Plex, works great on everything but iPhone app.

So it is not a BT issue. I don’t have an iPhone to test, but can you grab the logs from the app after reproducing this problem and post it here. https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201636593-iOS-Logs
The app is not crashing so there are no logs.
The app doesn’t need to crash. Recreate the issue of playing back a song where you then see it start over. At this point, follow the instructions from the link to email the logs to yourself. Then grab that attachment and post it here.

Please, if anyone can help with this. Again it only happens when I try to play Music. Everything else on the iPhone app works fine. Cant play a song for more the 1:20-1:40 minutes without the song starting over.

Hi. I haven’t forgotten, just have not been able to look at your logs yet. I took a quick look the other day but did not see anything that stood out so I need to take a deep look.
Well I tested again today after installing new Plex updates and same thing.
If there anyone else I can contact about this? this is not an intermittent or random error, it happens every time I try to play music. I can believe I am the only one having this issue.

Just did the update to ios 9.3 and same thing, songs will play from 1.2 minutes to 2.3 minutes and start over.
How do I contact the Plex iPhone app engineers. this is ridicules that I have been dealing with this for 2 months and cant get it to work!

I reviewed your logs and there is some sort of connection error going on, causing the player to restart after a certain amount of time. I’m checking to see what could be causing the problem. I’ll keep you updated on what I find.
I have a Cox business connection 25MB Down 4MB UP. I sure that’s not the problem, plus movies work fine and that’s a lot more data then music.
I’m still not able to find the problem, but basically the audio player is not working properly. If you are interested, there is an beta iPhone app that uses a new audio player that may resolve your problem.
