+1 to adding IPv6 support to MyPlex and also the Plex.tv website.
Migration to IPv6 is becoming a reality for many, especially as some of the workarounds to prolong IPv4 even longer - such as CGNAT introduce even more headaches.
I have an IPv6 6in4 tunnel set up with devices on the home network picking up an address in my routed /64
Looking at IPv6 support on Plex and the Plex apps it's still severely lacking.
The approved network list only appears to support IPv4 address - netmask combinations. Therefore all IPv6 connections are forced to authenticate. There appears to be no way to white-list my /64
Neither IOS or Android apps have support for IPv6 despite the fact that both devices do have IPv6 connectivity.
For me it's not yet a deal breaker but where people can now only get IPv4 via a 4in6 tunnel, native IPv6 support accross all Plex Apps/Websites would go a long way.
As yet the only way I can connect to my server over IPv6 is via Webbrowser from all devices.

yes please add ipv6 support to myplex as my isp no longer issues ipv4 addresses
Apparently they are "on it" (I asked them about it on Twitter a while back)... but it seems to be a bit more complicated than one (okay, I... I have no idea how to do this so I presume its easy ;-) ) would think...
Well, here is to hoping that it comes soon :-)
+1 My new ISP (Webpass) provides ipv6 address but not public ipv4 (Double NAT situation).

Anyway, after I ran into same situation I spend a lot of time on isp hotlines. For those who are Unitymedia Hessen Costumers: You have the right to switch back from DS-Lite to “real” IPv4 within 6 month after a upgrade.
For new contracts theres no way
All you need is patience and a bit of luck finding the “right” operator there who knows. For me it tooks 2 Weeks…

Accidentally I created a new thread on this issue, it is a bit more detailed and can be found here.

This programs inability to work with IPv6 for remote access, is starting to become more and more visable as providers are scrambiling to save their IPv4 addresses, switching to Double Stack NAT. Please Plex, how about chiming in and letting us know something.
A possible work around is to use so called PortMapper Services, which I have to say work well.
The only problem for myPlex is that the IP required to access the mapped port can not be determined automatically. To fix this it would be necessary to specify a external host name and/or IP(v4) in order for myPlex to properly access the server.
Together with a guide and some recommendations for IPv6 to IPv4 port mapping services this could be a good temporary fix until the infrastructure is updated on the myPlex backend side.
There are some workarounds - usually you can “buy” an IPv4 from your ISP for a monthly cost as well… But really, Plex should have this figured out by now… So let’s keep voting this issue up and hope they get around to it soon!
This is kind of vital right as ipv6 is becoming more and more prevalent and commonplace on server infrastructure.
+1 I've just switched to webpass in San Francisco and having the same issues as everyone else. please add IPv6 support soon!
Thanks!
