Is 7.1 supported in the new enhanced player?

Plex was showing DirectPlay.
Tautulli was showing DCAMA 7.1, 8ch, DirectPlay for Audio.
Receiver, Denon was showing only receiving 5.1, 6ch as what it was receiving for Input.
