I wanted to start a new topic for the no sound issue. Has anyone had any luck with getting sound from Plex on ATSC 3.0 channels? I get sound through the HD HomeRun app, but not through Plex.
I’ve tried a few channels, and no sound at all in Plex, but it’s working in the app.

AC-4 is not yet supported by the FFMPEG version that plex uses, therefore no sound as of yet.
There appears to be a branch of ffmpeg that supports AC4 #8349 (Dolby AC-4 Support) – FFmpeg . What’s required to get the functionality into a version Plex supports? It feels like there was a flurry of activity then things fell silent.
I dont know for sure, but if I had to make a guess, I would say that it is a wait and see for the Plex developers since FFMpeg could have the functionality, but it would have to be invoked in some way, and that would require an update to the plex code to make happen. I suspect that just moving a version of ffmpeg that works with ACS3 into a directory accessible to Plex wont be enough to make this work. Hopefully the Plex developers have this on their radar to implement soon.
Same for me. Also there is no matching guide channels for the 3.0 stations.
