Is h265 direct play supported with AppleTV 4K 3rd Generation?

I am considering upgrading my library to h265 and getting a new AppleTV 4K which natively supports h265.

My question is, does the plex client app on apple tv support h265 direct play (no transcoding) and in which formats?
ps. would be fantastic if this kind of information were listed on their respective pages such as here (Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More)

Yes, that is supported. Playback support is based on the device’s native capabilities. Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) - Technical Specifications. In most cases, it is not dependent on Plex Media Server.
