Is it any wonder each release creates as many bugs as it fixes

Why do they bother with beta releases only to release it to everyone so soon:

1.21.3.4046 Beta - available to everyone 2 days later
1.21.3.4021 Beta - available to everyone 2 days later

No wonder each release causes so many issues. The short period of time between beta releases and it being released to everyone isn’t even long enough for the beta users to find any issues never mind for them to be fixed.

Isn’t it time Plex produced a Long-term support stable release which only receives critical bug fixes. I would happily have no new features for the next few years and a stable product. I would even be open to buying a second Plex pass to get it.

“Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.” - Rich Cook

“If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in.” - Edsger W. Dijkstra

Much of the infrastructure of Plex is “programmer” based so they have become very good at “programming” bugs. Also the user base is always expanding so there is more opportunity for “bigger and better idiots” to have a shot at breaking things.

This means that Plex is losing to the universe at a greater and greater rate.
