Is it possible to change the sync cache location on Linux?

I’m running a Plex server on LinuxMint 18.3. Plex server version 1.13.0.5003.

My OS drive is only 64GB, but I’ve got 52TB of storage other than that to use. There seems to be no way to change the location of Plex sync cache. It only takes a couple episodes to fill up the remaining storage on the OS drive where Plex is installed. Can this actually be changed to one of my other hard drives?

There is no User-Facing setting.
A little Linux magic, of course, will let you move it anywhere more appropriate.
