Server Version#: 1.26.2.5797-5bd057d2b
Player Version#: 4.76.1

Hello,

In advance sorry for my poor english…

Is it possible to delete all authorized devices at once ?

if not, is it possible do not keep the devices ?

For information, I only use only the web client and when i close my Firefox, It delete all my cookies.

Thank for all and have nice day.

Frank

Not without coding it, and may I humbly ask, why you only use FF, and then clear everything, instead of maybe using one of our desktop apps?

Yes. Change your Plex account password. While doing that, tick the checkbox “Sign out connected devices after password change”.
This will include all devices – even your server(s), so you might need to perform https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/ afterwards.

If you also have Roku devices linked, you need to unlink their Roku account via the link “Other Services” on this page https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account
Same applies to Sonos, trakt.tv etc

Hello OttoKerner,

Thank you very a lot for your answer.

If that’s the only way, aouh…

It’s too complicated for me. I just wanted a setting to change or a button to clear them all.

Thanks again, but I’m going to keep erase one by one.

Even if it made me lose 30 minutes last night.

It’s a pity that Plex Server doesn’t have a button to do this, more simply.

Good to you, Frank

You might want to teach your web browser(s) to not delete the cookies of plex.tv when you close them.
This helps cutting down on the number of authenticated devices a lot.

Hello Dane22,

I will answer you honestly, i am a Linux user and I don’t like to be tracked.

I use only open source applications.

I block all GAFAM, all who use the same methods and all trackers with two Pi-Hole.

I don’t use the android tv box of my internet provider, anyway it can’t work because I block G…e.

And concerning my cell phones, they connect to the Internet via my own VPN which also uses Pi-Hole.

I attach a great importance to my privacy and the protection of my data.

This is why and I hope you understand.

Regards, Frank

These cookies are not used to track you. They are used to store your access token and your personal Plex client settings for the web app.
If Plex wanted to track you, it could do so using your user account (into which you are logging in all the time, creating another cookie by doing so…)

It’s not cookies == bad
but rather cookies == pootentially usable for nefarious purposes.
Which is just the same with almost all other things.
So a case-by-case approach in dealing with them is sensible.

Sure, and no problem

Hello OttoKerner,

First of all, I trust Plex even if i block g…-analytics.com.

If it were not case, i remove my Plex server immediately…

I know that not all cookies are bad, but I don’t want a token that stay forever.

I don’t want to open my Plex without entering my email and password.

Nor do i want my bank to open automatically my account with a simple cookie.

There are sites where you can uncheck “remember me” and you have to sign in again.

Thank you and have a nice day/night.

Frank
