Is it possible to filter language in dual language library?

Hello Everyone,

first off:

  • I know that you can filter by language - my question is a bit different though. I’ll elaborate shortly.
  • I’m using Plex Cloud, so I can’t use any Plug-Ins

I began with only 2 different Libraries: Movies & TV
I threw both Dual-Language Media and Single-Language Media into both Libraries.

Now after some time using it I came to the conclusion that it would be better to have a Library for every Language (ENG & GER).

So, I now have:
Movies (GER&ENG, DL)
Movies (ENG)
TV (GER&ENG, DL)
TV (ENG)

I tried setting the filter as follows:

Own Filter
Audio language [is] English
Audio language [is not] German

so I could find out which movie is ONLY ENG so I can move them into the new ‘Movies (ENG)’ Library. Sadly this won’t work and it doesn’t show me any movies. But when I filter for only English OR only German it is able to show me Dual-Language movies because of that I can’t figure out which movies are only Single-Language and not Dual-Language.

Any tips on how to manage this? The only other way would be clicking through all 350+ Movies and checking if they are only Single-Language or Dual-Language but it would be soo much easier if I just could exclude every movie which doesn’t come with Dual-Language and then move them into the only Englisch Library for example.

Also: Why isn’t this possible for TV Libraries. :frowning:

Just put all the movies in the same location. Create a new category for the language you want as default. For instance I have one for English and another for películas(Español). The Películas category looks for Spanish and choosers that as the default language. If the movie is in English is gives subtitles in Spanish
