So my NAS is almost full, and I don’t want do delete anything and I would also like to see all my movies in Plex. Is there a way to move the actual files from my NAS but to let Plex keep it in the library?
Some NAS platforms allow you to “mount” storage on other devices (i.e. additional NAS units or file servers).

If you only want to keep a kind of directory in your library, yes that is also possible, but it needs some manual work: Is there any possibility for browsing my DVD collection in my media server?
