Is it possible to mark entire series as played without adding each episode to recently played?

I am adding back some TV series to replace a filestore that was lost (long story). The Plex server detects then fine and adds them back, but they are all now marked unplayed. Is it possible to mark entire series/seasons as played without them being added to the recently played list and pushing the things I have actually watched recently way down the list?

Yes, you can click the three little dots on the lower right-hand corner of the show poster, season poster, or individual episode and the option will appear to label it as played. That should push them down.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that’s not true for me. I have the option to mark as played in that menu, but if I use it then each individual episode gets added to the recent played list as well which is what I’m trying to avoid.

I’m sorry I misread your post. I don’t think there is a way to accomplish that. I do wish we had more granular control over some of those sections.
