I’ve never been satisfied with the pre-movie cinema trailers that are sourced from online. Far too many are low-resolution with poor sound, 4:3 aspect ratios, and unless I limit it to just movies in my library…too many of them are movies that would never ever want to watch.
Is it possible to utilize ONLY locally-stored trailers during pre-play trailers? At least that way I could have some control over it.
Yes, in Plex Web, go to Settings \ Server \ Extras, enable the first check box (Include Cinema Trailers from movies in my library) and disable the other 2.
Thanks for the response, MovieFan.Plex…but that’s not exactly what I’m hoping to do. I can do what you said…but it still sources the trailers from online sources. What I’m looking to do is utilize only trailers that are stored locally on my server.
If you already had PMS gather the online sources, then no, this is not possible. The only way would be to remove all the trailers/extras that were already gathered. You are not the first to ask for this.
