Sorry if this has been asked, but I didn’t see it answered. I have plex pass + HDHomerun and have already been playing with DVR. Looking forward to testing LiveTV on Android as well.
You didn’t see it answered because Plex does not give ETAs on when a feature will be released.
Aaaand it’s live in the beta channel.
Interesting, it says it’s live but requires server 1.8, which I don’t see is available, but I use Linux so maybe that’s why?

The beta release notes say 1.8 is required for time shifting. Live TV and DVR work right now as long as you are running a supported PMS version (1.7.2+).
Odd. On 1.7.6 of server and on beta channel for Android. My latest Android release notes do mention live TV but I don’t see it in app. Is it hiding somewhere in the menus? Plex dvr continues to work fine

Make sure you have 6.3.0.1090. You should have this menu:
Guess I will reboot systemd Plex service and phone cause still don’t see. Is their a live TV setting on server separate from dvr?
There is the Plex version I am running on server
same here. Newest Android but not DVR option. Must need newer plex pass windows app… Grr…

Nope. In the PMS settings, there’s just a menu item for “Live TV & DVR (Beta)” and it shows your tuner you use for the DVR. Nothing else to enable in the server for Live TV to work on clients.
I’m not seeing it on my Pixel XL, either. I’m running Plex 6.3.0.1090 on Android, and v1.7.6.4058 on my server.
It’s been working (mostly) fine on my iPhone.
I had to restart the plex server, and my phone to see the menu.
Rebooting both didn’t fix for me. Bummer
Out of curiosity, state which hdhomerun you have and if it’s working

Rebooting server/phone didn’t work for me either. PMS 1.7.6. and lastest Android beta 6.3.0.1090 on a Google pixel. Still don’t see live TV or recording schedule.
I tried it on my wife’s Galaxy S7 and it works. Tried again on my Google pixel and still does not show up.

NM it showed up now on my Google pixel
It showed up briefly on my OnePlus 3, then i turned off Wifi and it disappeared for a bit, but i know have the option again.
Started working on my pixel in last few minutes
