I’m not seeing PMS 1.8 anywhere. Am I losing my mind?
Nope, not released yet 
So we can have it - but not yet.
I’m happy that the Android mobile devices will get Live TV with this beta (when running the 1.8 PMS release).
@kegobeer-plex - from what i read on the patch notes only Timeshift is dependent on PMS 1.8, no mention of live tv and dvr requiring 1.8
I mean I’m running the update but see no means of pulling up live TV. I’m assuming it’ll show up as another library.

It’s the same client that runs on mobile Android devices. The release notes for that beta lists Live TV as being added.

Where are you running the Plex Server? You have to use 1.7+ for Live TV. Time shifting is new and requires 1.8+.

For the mobile release, yes - 1.8 will bring both DVR/Live TV and time shifting capabilities. Hopefully 1.8 will be released soon.

Yeah - i saw that, but im also running the latest android mobile client with NO live tv or DVR options, and there was no mention that these were dependent on 1.8 also

I really hope so, and that the “1.8” requirement is not a delay tactic to buy more time.
Lots of possible releases between 1.7.5 and 1.8. I guess we’ll see…
