5 year later, PLEX still can’t play gif
All browser native support to play gif , so you don’t even need to transcode it.
Why it’s so difficult?
Boy I would have thought in you would have fixed this CatSama… but, it must not be as easy or desired as you had thought.
I see no reason for Plex to NOT support .gif and .ani. It is something I need badly. After 6 yrs we should be able to use Plex so we can find all of our emphasized textmotion type imagesemphasized text in Plex or a Plex library.
Come on guys! Roll up up your sleeves for a couple of hours and emphasized textget-err-done!emphasized text
