Is the Qnap TVS-h1288x compatible with Plex?

I’m planning on upgrading to this server soon if it is compatible with Plex.

If you use QTS on it, you’ll be fine.
We have been able to confirm that much.

Are you intending to use ZFS (QuTS Hero)?
If so, one thing we have found, but not fully vetted, is the importance of having

  1. Enough RAM (1 GB / TB minimum - ZFS recommended minimum)
  2. Drives all equal size and in the same pool (load distribution).
