Please has anyone tried the QNAP TVS-h1688X with PLEX or know if its a possibility
We have not tested with / know anything about QuTS at this time – waiting on QNAP

If you can run QTS on the box, we are OK with that.
We’re hoping QNAP will loan us a box with it on so we can confirm everything is as compatible as it should be,.

Hi I’m using the Qnap TVS-H1688X… Plex works fine!
But I have a problem. I want to use my RTX4000 Quadro card. Nvidia drivers are installed and configurated with QTS Mode. But Plex still using the Intel CPU. I have plex premium. I restarted the plex application also the complete QNAP.
It’s my first try to use HW transcoding on qnap with nvidia. Which settings should I check now?

We are waiting for QNAP to send us a unit to test with.
Until that time, we will not know how that unit works.
If QTS, it should behave as other QTS units do. Therefore, any issues should be directed to QNAP
If QuTS Hero – Not yet supported.
ah okay… I hope you can solve this problem… and get a unit from qnap. It’s a great NAS with a lot of power!
