I have plexpass but not all movies get trailers. Then I added TrailerAddict plugin. That really helped and I now have trailers for most of my movies. However, most of my foreign movies don’t get any trailers. Youtube has them but I don’t see any way to automatically point to it like I have done for TrailerAddict. Is there a way to add youtube trailers (without having to download them myself)? That would be very helpful

Unfortunately not. You can only add locally stored video files, but not files which are hosted someplace on the internet.

Not sure if I understand your statement correctly. From what I know, the trailer addict trailers are sourced directly from their website and not stored locally. Is that not true? Are all trailers (for the users of PlexPass) downloaded and stored locally? I was not aware of that if that is true. Could you please elaborate?

Trailer addict is a 3rd party plugin.
No, these are streamed from the internet.
Still, streaming trailers from Youtube is not possible.,

Thanks. Got it now. Lets hope someone comes up with a plugin for streaming Youtube trailers directly. (Unless Youtube/google is blocking that for some reason - they do that sort of thing). That would be a great addition.
