Is there a way to integrate my Fritz!Box 6490 cable as a TV source (DVB-C)?

Hi!

My ISP recently provided me with an upgraded router that has a built in DVB-C receiver. From within the router’s config pages, I can download an m3u-file. If I open that file in (e.g. VLC), I see live television for a given TV station. The m3u-file can also contain a ‘playlist’ of all available stations.

Is there any way of integrating this into Plex DVR? If not, what hardware is available in Germany for recording TV using Plex?

I’ve added some screenshots below…

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Best regards,
Andrew

I did a lot of digging around and it seems the only viable solution is to use TVheadend:

… together with this proxy:

However, I cannot seem to get it to work. The plex DVR setup ‘sees’ the tvhProxy, but won’t allow me to skip scanning for channels… s. screenshot:

I’ve been googling for a while now and can’t figure it out. Anyone out there have an idea?

Best regards,
Andrew
