Is there a way to receive a notification (email, alert, etc) if plex is offline?

Hello,
Following up tangentially on the discussion below. I often have a similar issue where my plex is running on my qnap, but will be unavailable. I full restart usually remedy’s this problem. However I’m wondering I can get ahead of it.

Does anyone know of a software or script that would alert you if you plex is offline, which would prompt you to then restart it?

You can also use Uptime Robot, https://uptimerobot.com/, to monitor remote access.

It checks your remote access port at a predetermined interval (default 5 min), and sends you an e-mail if it cannot reach your server.

A free account can monitor up to 50 devices.
