Get Notified when plex goes offline

Hey guys,

for some reason lately my plex has crashed 2ce in the past month, no server updates, no plex updates. just crashed. the server is still online, but plex is turned off.

Im wondering if there is a way I can get notified via email when this happens? I have my computer up 24/7 and people use it all the time. There are no over heating issues, or bottlenecks on the server.

is there a way using tautulli I can get an email or something when it goes offline?

I don’t believe Plex can do this, but Tautulli can be set up to do that.

I use tautulli to do that (sends a push message to my devices as I typically don’t read email that fast) and I also monitor my Plex port through Uptimerobot.

do we have a tutorial on how to get it to do this?
