Hi

Is there a way to share certain movies with users instead of having to create separate libraries?

I wont to share some movies with me and another user.

I love having all my movies in one library as there all my movies, when i create a second library to share certain movies any new movies i add get duplicated so i end up with two moves in the same library mine and my other users library.

You could create a playlist of the movies you’d like to share, and then share the playlist:

There may be other, better ways to accomplish it as well.

This is more for sharing single items with friends instead of sharing multiple movies with a managed user.

I don’t mind creating a new library, some movies in my library will be the same as the movies in the new created library. The problem being when i add new movies i end up with duplicate movies in both libraries 2 of he same movies in both libraries. why?

I don’t want to have to create separate libraries then have to switch between libraries to find movies i like. I want to have some of the same movies in both libraries and when i add new movies, have then sync to both libraries if there shred (not duplicate then twice in each library)

You can use ‘labels’ to include or exclude content to shared users.

Or single instance sharing to share only specific item (movie/tv/music/playlist etc)

Also, with multiple libraries, you can un pin the extra library so you don’t have to see it.
