Is there a way to tell plex to generate missing thumbnails?

Plex Server Version 1.20.1.3252 in docker on Ubuntu 18.04 host with kernel 5.4

Trying to determine if there’s a way to tell plex to generate thumbnails, chapters and intros only for media in which it’s missing, via cli or gui.

I have a large library I recently scanned in and along the way I had to restart the host a few times mid scans. It seems like when I did this, any thumbnail, chapter or intro generation. That was queued up was cancelled. I know the box has already done a good portion of this process and don’t want it to recrunch that media if possible. I’ve tried setting schedules tasks to 23 hours a day but the server rarely seems to be generating these items and I know it’s nowhere near finished.

I read that Analysing your libraries via the gui, or using the cli with --generate can force this process, however what isn’t clear is will this regenerate thumbs/chapters/intros for media that already has these items? If yes, is there way to tell it to only process the media in which these items are missing? Since I use cloud based storage, I’m trying to minimize the amount of data transfer.

Thanks in advance.
