Is this email genuine? - Plex Inc. has invited you to test "Plex"

I received an email today titled ‘Plex Inc. has invited you to test “Plex”’ with a link to Apple’s Testflight. I haven’t clicked on the link because something about it made me suspicious. Has anyone else received this email? And is it legitimate?

Can’t say any recent additions to my spam folder look anything like that.

I do have the Special Important Message from Bank of America and the followup Special Important Message from the FBI letting me know the previous Special Important Message from Bank of America is legit (lol - I’d sooner give all my money to that Nigerian Prince we all know and love).

My advice - check your ‘Notifications Profile’ on your forum account - unchecking almost everything. Mark that message as Spam and have a Dr. Pepper.

Hmm. It looked better on desktop. On my iPhone it looks “not very Apple” so it must be fake. Never mind. I’m usually pretty good at ignoring the fakes.

That actually looks correct. It has a distinct look because it’s intended for developers. I PM’d you about forwarding it to me so I can verify.
