Issue causing server to lock up & does not auto restart

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4805 (Linux/ubuntu 20.04 LTS)

Had an issue with Live TV & DVR where ‘ghost’ streams from previous channels kept recording. This went over my tuner limit, yet I could only see my one Live TV & DVR stream. I could not force stop playback of this stream, and after a few minutes it locked up the entire plex server.

It did not come back up, and I had to force restart the plexmediaserver.service

This is an issue as it killed all of my users currently watching any content, and if this happened when I was unavailable, it would have just sat there in a crashed state since plex did not restart itself as expected

I have logs that I would like to PM as I concerned about the contents of the logs.

I’ve seen this happen to my Live TV & DVR. It will show tuners in use from previous viewed channels and the activity pulldown will show them recording. Haven’t seen this in a while though but it’s definitely an issue.
