Playlist doesn’t update after episode is deleted?
This worked flawlessly for years, I’ve always watched shows and movies on my TV using playlist that I create. I have a playlist for each day of the week, movies, and then a couple of playlist where I added an entire season.
I used to be able to watch an episode, then delete it, and immediately the playlist would update. About a year ago after an update this quit working. Ever since the update when a episode is deleted it’s actually removed from my hard drive and the list is now one episode less in number. The issue is, the names are all off.
IE, lets say I have (6) episodes of the series show below, I watch episode 1 and delete it. After deleting it still shows S02E01, basically episode 02 is now shown as episode 01, and on down the line and episode 06 is gone. Every time I watch an episode or movie from any list, I have to backout of that list and then go back in in order for Plex to properly update the list, and the correct episodes are now shown in the correct order with 01 as now been removed from the list.
Basically, whatever file you delete, its name is pushed on down to the episode or movie in the playlist (ascending)
