Issue with IMDB lookups?

I’m trying to add Pokemon Master Journeys (I know… it’s for my kids) which is considered Season 24 of the main Pokemon show, but is a separate standalone show in IMDB. However, when I use the imdb-tt15416672 syntax to match the show, I get no results:

Use the TVDB or TMDB ID, not the IMDB ID.

TV Shows: TVDB or TMDB ID.
Movies: IMDB or TMDB ID.

Migrating a TV library to use the new Plex TV Series Agent/Scanner | Plex Support shows IMDB as being an option for TV matching - I’m trying to use IMDB as it’s the only one that reflects this show as its own show, rather than a season of another show.

That is only for the Fix Match function. Not for organizing and naming the show folder & files.

Plex uses TMDB/TVDB organization for TV shows. You can also add the TMDB/TVDB ID to the show folder name to tell Plex which show to match.

You can tell Plex to use season names, so it should identify the season as Master Journeys, not Season 24.

Edit: If this is the only season you have of Pokemon, you can tell Plex to hide the season number for single season series. It will only show the episodes. You could then edit the show name to Pokemon Master Journeys.

Also, specific to Master Journeys, use the TMDB organization. It is listed as season 24 in TMDB (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/60572-pok-mon/seasons). TheTVDB.com has a different organization, listing season 19 as “Journeys” with 158 episodes (https://thetvdb.com/series/pokemon)

Shows have to be available on either TheTVDB or TMDB in order to be matched in Plex. I cannot find this show on either of those databases.

As @FordGuy61 say Pokemon Master Journeys is classified as a season off the main Pokémon show. You will need to name your files based off the naming of these seasons either via TMDB or TVDB. Links below …
