Over here I have the same issues with the X95L (over 3 months later), @devs please fix this. When I load up the Plex App on my PS5 and play the exact same file the problems do not occur so it’s the internal app in combination with Plex aspect ratio. The problem seems to indeed be happening when the content is not 16:9, see also similar threads describing this issue:
