I have a NVIDIA Shield running the latest Plex Server. I am using the HDHomeRun unit to use Live TV. Recording Live TV works great, with the exception of sound. If I record Live TV I can play it back with sound, without any issues. Every time I ask for the recording to “remove commercials” the commercials are removed. However, when I try to play back the video on the NVIDIA Shield the sound is not played. The mpeg format created does not play on the NVIDIA Shield. However, when I play back this file on my computer instead, the sound is played properly.
How can I change the settings in Plex Server to create a version that NVIDIA Shield will play? If not, then this may be an issue with the software that needs to be corrected.
