Since the “New Player” was installed I’ve been having fast forward issues. This is an very annoying issue for me since I record and watch 5 NFL games per week and need to fast forward to get through them all.
Follows is a list of possible results when pressing the “Forward” button:
- Immediate 30 sec forward and resumption of play.
- Delayed forward with spinning arrow (a few seconds). Normal resumption of play.
- Delayed forward with spinning arrow (a few seconds). Play resumes with 5 sec delayed play of video.
- Delayed forward then play is Paused. Press pause to resume.
- Play is stopped with the message - An error occurred while attempting to play this video, Please check your connection and try again. A complete resumption of play is required.
I have 3 different servers, Mac, Win10 and Shield, these annoyances occur when watching content from all 3 servers. I have waited through about 5 player updates and 2 server updates to see if these issues get resolved.
Tonight I tried with the old player…NO issues. Please please get this fixed.
