- verify that Plex server still has the privilege to access the local network. This is a system preference in MacOS. While you’re at it, check the same for the app.plex.tv website, and the Plex desktop app if you’re using that one. Important note about the Plex Web app - Local Network Access

- many Plex client apps now enforce the new rules of requiring either a Plex Pass, or at least a Remote Watch Pass for streaming from a remote server. This doesn’t only affect remote clients: A server is considered “remote” if it is in a different network than the client. There are quite a few network configurations, where a server can end up in a different network than your local home network.
