I’ve recently sold my Netgear RN204 as it was not so powerful to stream videos, now i’ve got HP Microserver Gen8 with i5-3470T CPU, which i doubt is a problem.
Everything is runnig on latest Freenas, as router im using MikroTik RB750gr3, which works as DHCP server and NAT, on WAN-side there is my public ip, so no other firewalls, etc. to block anything.
Local ip of whole freenas is 10.0.0.50, Plex server got ip 10.0.0.47, of course i’ve forwarded 32400 port in firewall, which works - every time when i check if port is opened, using tools from google, it says it is accessible from outside of my network.
At this moment - it works on Amazon fire stick, works on my laptop, does not work on Plex app built in in Samsung smart tv (dont remember model, cant access it at this moment), does not work on my LG 55sk8500pla TV, which app and webos version is provided above.
When i open Plex app on my tv and try to access my server got only ! in triangle and cant see any content, when i enter status of my server it says to download server. When i try to add server ip manually, nothing changes. When i remove app and all settings from my tv, install it again, login again, go to plex.tv/link and link TV, it is doing it forever, just circle is spinning for long time and nothing happens. When i switch off tv and back on, it looks like it is logged in, but does not work.
On Netgear RN204 few days ago everything was working fine. Same IP, same settings, etc. On plex.tv account i’ve deleted all devices with permissions before, added only new server.
Any clues?
