Hi Everyone,
To preface everything, I am not very tech savvy and would appreciate step-by-step instructions on how to execute possible solutions or providing certain logs so that I can get a diagnosis on the issue. I also just got the Plex Lifetime Pass and was hoping for direction on how best to utilize it.
Issue#1
Whenever I click “optimize” on a movie, it stays stuck on “converting” at 0%. I hear the fans on my laptop whirring a lot faster so I’m assuming it taking significant processing power but with no results.
Issue#2
Whenever I attempt to open these ‘unoptimized’ files on my Roku TV/NVIDIA Shield, these movies stay stuck at 33% and eventually get this message popping up, “multiple playback errors”. Other smaller files open fine and play on my Roku TV and NVIDIA Shield.
I am operating the NVIDIA Shield on a different WiFi network as compared to my Roku TV and laptop. My laptop is attached to an external hard disk that contains all of my movies. Using Windows 10 laptop.
