I updated to 1.41.8 couple days ago and now can’t find server with hardwire desktop or apps on phones. How do I tell if the problem is the plex version, router setting or QNAP device?
Let’s start with…
- How are you trying to access the server (e.g. from what apps / browser / …)?
- Do you experience the same issue across different apps / browsers (incl. the bundled web app → http://[QNAP local IP address]:32400/web)?
Sorry for the delay. Working 24x7… Latest Edge version on desktops (two), TV versions on TVs (three Samsungs) and two cell phones (iPhone 15 and Samsung S24+). Started after installing the latest version of PMS on Qnap TS451 but I also rebooted the ATT Router too so could be that.
Did you by chance change your password and opt to sign out all devices, or delete your server from the list of authorized devices? Both will result in your server being signed out / unlinked from your account.
In that case you’ll need to reclaim your server.
I don’t think so, but I will try to reclaim it now
I should be able to access it by typing in the local IP for my Qnap :32400/web, right? Even if the sever is not claimed? I try to open the PMS app in the QNAP admin and it says refused to connect.
I had PMS 1.41.8 installed. I installed 1.41.6 over it and it seems to be working just fine now. I am not going to install new releases when they come out right away anymore. That’s for sure. Thanks for your help!
