PMS Not Detected After Fresh Install on QNAP

Server Version#: 1.26.1.5798-99a4a6ac9
QNAP TS-453 Pro on latest firmware 5.0.0.1986

I uninstalled CodexPack from the QNAP app store as it had an expired certificate and after that Plex could not find any of my media so I decided to do a uninstall/install of PMS.

However I’m getting an error message after launching it via the QNAP App Center, ‘Not Authorized. You do not have access to this server.’
Launching it via http://IP:32400/web/ loads the webpage fine but does does not detect the PMS.

I’ve tried the tip of deleting the Preferences.xml, and also ssh’ing into the QNAP to claim the token via https://plex.tv/claim. The QNAP shows up in the list of Authorized devices but I still can’t see the PMS.

All devices on the same subnet, Plex server IP is 192.167.1.11 and I’m trying to configure it on a workstation 192.167.1.50.

Any ideas?

Sad to hear you uninstalled, since could have been fixed, but done is done

So start browsing to http://192.167.1.11:32400/identity

Does it show Claimed=0 ?

If so, start by trying another browser, and then report back

Typo?

You should use RFC-1918 addressing - 192.168.x.x.

192.167.x.x is an Italian research network.

Thanks Dane22 and FordGuy61 for your prompt responses.

Yeah it was a shame I uninstalled it…

192.167.1.1 was a typo, should have been 192.168.1.1

I ended up fixing it by disabling the router firewall. For some reason it was blocking some of the ports to my NAS shares and causing some other issues.
