I have shared the media on my server with a friend. She can access everything thing on my server with the exception of one TV Show. I have restarted my server, shared everything with her again, she has logged out and back in, but nothing works. I can access the show, but she cannot. Can anyone help me to figure out what is going on with why my friend can watch everything except one show?
When you say she cannot access that show… do you mean the show isn’t showing up at all or she cannot stream/play it?
It will play for a few seconds, then buffers, and then tell her there is a playback error. It says Playback Error The server was not powerful enough to convert this video for smooth playback. Try playing the original quality, then it gives the options to Retry, Play next, and stop.
She has not changed the quality on anything, and I have no trouble watching it on my Roku TVs or an iphone.
What information is showing in the “now playing” tile for that playback on the Plex server dashboard when she’s trying to play that particular show?
