A year after the introduction of the ATV4 along with Plex’s own plexapp and users (me for one) are quite disappointed. Many are experiencing buffering issues, the UI is far behind in it’s development and the team generally is ignoring the user base. IMO they are floundering with their marketing driven model concentrating on bringing new features on board while ignoring long outstanding bugs and the lack of personalization capability we all have enjoyed with Plexconnect. Plexconnect was and still is a great UI to PMS and I would like the guru’s here to highly consider transforming it into a full fledge app for the ATV4. I know there was an early on start at making a compatible atv4 version here but from what I can tell it’s not really at a point that can be turned into a full app. What’s it gonna take guys? Can we get this accomplished?
Plex app and plexconnectapp both work fine for me on aTV4:
I run PMS on Win 10 PC and use the ATV4 as main client and find it excellent. I have Movie, TV, Video, Photo and Music libraries all setup and have absolutely no complaints. My 5 year old can work it.
Don’t mean to take away from issues you’re having just giving my feedback for a balanced perspective.

Are you saying the existing plexconnect (which I use with the atv3 and what your link points to) will also work on the atv4?
If so, is it just a matter of installing the profile?

So, the real question is can we get someone interested enough to finish the work and submit this to apple for app approval?
I’d be willing to donate and bet others would as well.
