As the current Plex Client for ATV4 is still a bit buggy and I am lazy to unplug my ATV4 for my ATV3, I would like to use PlexConnect with the new ATV.
But after reading that the trailers app is not available in many countries, I’m unsure which “app” I can install and afterwards hijack.
I think I saw the answer buried in another thread, but by asking the question in its own thread, some other users will find the answer more directly.
I’m not planning to beta test the new PlexConnect app yet, I’m just trying to use the current PlexConnect (installed on my media server) and hijack an “app”.
What I read was that iMovie and WSJ are working. Could someone confirm this ?
You are preferring the PlexConnect hack to the available native solutions?

Correct. I like for instance the fact that I have one combined view for all my local servers (I have two) and the subtitles synchronization issue seems to be solved.
For me PlexConnect is more mature. That’s why I would like to keep on using it on my ATV4.
So could someone confirm which ATV4 apps are working with PlexConnect and if the hijack procedure corresponds to the ATV3 channels one ?
