I have to see that it is possible to buying movies and tvshows from Itunes. My question is: is it possible to playing a movie from Itunes in Plex or has this movie a DRM protection.
All Movies and TV Shows bought from iTunes are DRM protected.
You can only view them from iTunes. You can’t even take it out of iTunes, therefore Plex cannot “read” it.

Hi, I don’t know whether you have solved this issue now. But, I 'd like to share my experience with you here. Actually, ,movies from iTunes are all DRM protected, thus you can’t watch them in non-Apple device. As for the thread you posted, if you want to watch iTunes on Plex, you are suggested to remove the DRM protection from iTunes movies firstly. is the tool I am currently using, runs well and updated frequently, you can consider it.

For the Apple TV version of Plex would it be possible to have our iTunes movies listed in Plex and then simple have them open in iTunes? Only since the Apple 4K TV came out, I’ve been buying all my movies from iTunes.
