**admin@synology** : **/** $ cd "/volume1/Music/MP3 New Archive/Volume 10 (sept13-dec14)/Switch 22 (2013)/"
**admin@synology** : **/volume1/Music/MP3 New Archive/Volume 10 (sept13-dec14)/Switch 22 (2013)** $ cat 101-kavinsky_ft_the_weeknd-odd_look-mnd.mp3

The directory is succesfully imported and Plex can play the file. XML from the plex library:

Are you seeing anything in your logs or even getting an option to do the import manually? Imported iTunes playlists are not showing in UI

Can you please tag this as server-synology. As @ChuckPa will mention it’s quite involved to get this to work. Did this iTunes Library come from Windows or Mac?

I’m sorry but this is correctly classified right here where it is.

iTunes import is a Windows or a MacOS only feature.

For those wishing to perform the cross-platform import task,

Be Advised it is beyond the scope of normal operations as there is no iTunes for Linux. Synology’s iTunes server is closed and inaccessibly by Plex.

I have provided enough foundation for someone to continue as a Community Effort if so desired.

I will be available to provide limited Linux-level support for how to accomplish tasks on Linux or Synology systems but my involvement with this task must end as I have many other tasks which impact the entire community.

To comment on the work above; make certain permissions are correctly opened via the Shared Folders app in the Control Panel and that all files are in place prior to the import.

Thanks for understanding.
