iTunes playlist is empty (“Unable to load items")

Hi, I have imported iTunes playlists but when I click on a particular playlist to open it, it does not show any song in that list. All I see is a blank page with the message “Unable to load items”.

However, I can play the playlist (not a particular song initially, but the entire list) and once I start playing the playlist and then click on the “Play Queue” icon while a song is playing, I can see the list of the songs in that playlist; I can even click on another song to play it!

I have researched extensively here and google in general, tried everything I found and could think of. No luck…

Any ideas what I am doing wrong and how do I fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!

Hey Good Samaritans out there! Have you run into this issue? How did you solve it? Any good ideas to share, please!

Just did a server update to 1.16.5.1554 hoping this will resolve the issue… no luck!

Some good progress: re-installed and “cleaned” the database (on assumption there was some corruption) and now I can see the songs in the playlists.

BUT … each of the seven playlists does NOT have all the songs, some missing a few some missing almost 50 out of 1,500 songs.

Anyone has an idea why???

AND I have another problem: when I tray to access Plex through Sonos, it can see the playlists and the songs in the playlist but it cannot play them (get some “can’t queue song” error). Will put a separate post here and at Sonos.
