Why won't items load in music playlist?I

I created a Music playlist but when I click on the list I get message “unable to load items”.

Further details on this issue: when I try to access the playlist from the Plex app on Sonos I get the message “unable to contact the Plex Media Server…check server settings” etc. I have checked and Remote Access is enable and I can play music, just not from the playlist.

…seems to be an issue with the number of tracks in the playlist. The one I’m having trouble with has over 1200 tracks but another with 14 tracks works without any problems.

I have the same issue with a 3000+ song playlist. I can play it, by using the “…” option that’s visible in the playlist tab, but I can’t actually get to the list of songs to remove specific tracks. Selecting the playlist simply brings up the “unable to load” screen.

This list was originally created with from a filter, and if I display that version of the playlist it handles the exceptionally large number of songs without any problem. Unfortunately, I can’t edit that “smart” playlist, which is why I converted it to a static one.

EDIT TO ADD: A day later, the playlist started loading. I assume that’s because the maintenance tasks that ran overnight processed it in some way that made it digestible.
