An option to jump forward in iOS clients (as well as other clients that don't have this) would be very useful. TV show opening credits tend to 30/60/90 seconds so a 30 second skip forward button would be very useful in allowing a user to jump passed the opening credits of a TV show. For now we're stuck trying to move the progress slider with our fingers to get passed the opening credits which can be frustrating.

Yes, a 30s skip forward button like the existing 30s rewind button would be great.
