Just a question about duration of a movie

Hi All. I Would like to ask a simple stupid question: Why on plex some films have the duration expressed in minutes (for example 87 min.) and others the duration is expressed in hours and minutes (for example 1h 27min). Depends on what? by the tags in the movie? or what else?

I suppose it simply depends where you’re looking at that information.
Last I’ve checked, the duration on a movie’s details page is showing in minutes. If you sort movies by duration, the label will show the time in hours and minutes instead. Not sure there’s a deeper meaning

I tested what you say…mmmm but I’m not sure is the correct solution of the question!
In this pic it explained what I mean
minutes|690x130

In my details I see hours and minutes, same in playlists, and when sorting by duration. However, there are movies with only minutes at the bottom of the sorted list. The “minute” length movies all appear to be less that 1hr 30min (<90min) and they are not getting the information from the local metadata (spot check @20). I’m going to bet a comparison of times in the IMDB will show they use both methods I checked only 1-2 and it seems to fit

Confirmed less than 1hr 30 min.
