Long time Plex Pass subscriber. Just purchased an HDHomeRun to cut the cable realizing I’d only be able to DVR for my TV. It would be really cool if you guys could enable Live TV over ChromeCast & Roku devices so I can stream live to each TV in my house.
First time post on forums but have been using for years. Plex is f***ing awesome and the devs really have thought of all the details. I love the mobile device sync and playlist creation- it makes it so awesome to use on mobile devices.
try the HDHR Viewer plugin until live TV comes to your clients…
The HDHR Viewer2 plugin is alright. I am waiting for the Fire TV support.
It looks like I can do it using Chromecast from my Desktop but that’s very inefficient…
Any update, Plex developers?
@no_doze - Roku PlexPass client now has LiveTV and limited DVR control.

And don’t bother with the plex DVR things go sideways because plex thinks its the only one using the tuners
