on web client casting is unreliable in detecting chromecast as cast device; once it is detected, it spins infinitely in “buffering” and if I try to click any button, closes play screen with error. No entries in server log. Server is on public IP and portforwarding is fine. Playing in browser is fine, with subtitles and parameters change/
on mobile (android) it starts but subtitles are not showing up. No apparent way to configure anything.
my plex usage is mostly with chromecast.
plex is unreliable for long time now. That breaks my user exprience and I’m considering cancelling the subscription.
